Game 7: 14-16

So close! Our last game was a back and forth affair. Two innings of 9+ runs per team made for an exciting bout. I'm confident that if we had fielded a complete 9 players on the field (instead of the 7 we had to), we would have emerged victorious. I'd like to thank everyone on the team for showing restraint and not beating their pitcher/left-fielder with an aluminum bat. Even their catcher said he was an ass that we should ignore.

While this may seem like a copout, it totally is. But really, doing so well while being down 2 players, having to deal with a complaining opponent, and still having fun was one tall task. You folks were more than up to it. Congrats on a well played season. As long as half our team doesn't move out of the state in the next 12 months, I look forward to an even more formidable team next spring!
